Vybz Kartel

Vybz Kartel, from the age of 12 started to write his own lyrics and has now become one of the unstopable forces behind Jamaican dancehall reggae.

Born in Portmore where he started his singing career as Adi Banton. In 1996 he was part of the Vybs Cartel group. He later went solo to become one of the the world's wellknown raw-lyrics dancehall DJ.

Vybz Kartel worked closely with Bounty killer supplying the war lord with lyrical armunation. In 2001, Vybz Kartel collaborations with several artists like Wayne Marshall etc, made him one of the talented artist of the century.
